Family Events

6-11-13 - Until a few years ago June 11^th was always a very grim day. It has been almost forty years since we lost Cindy to a car crash. The pain never quite goes away, especially on her birthday.

A few years ago we Spence brothers came up with an idea to ease the pain. We decided to celebrate our beloved sister’s life instead of always mourning her death on June 11^th. Since then we have spent time together virtually every year.

We missed last year as I was recovering from spine surgery buy we are renewing our celebration this year.

Each brother is staying home this year and we will spend time together at Sonoma Ranch Golf Course in Las Cruces. Mike's son Gabe will join us this year for the first time. At the end of the round (I am going to attempt to play) we will have lunch and drink a toast to Cindy.

1-3-13 - Davey, Mary, Renee and I attended the 2013 Fiesta Bowl in Phoenix. Oregon whipped up on Kansas State. We were all decked out in Duck garb Renee brought with her from Portland.

A good time was had by all!
