America Sleeps

In recent weeks we have heard many of our elected officials, many who have voted to grant the IRS even more sweeping powers over our lives, declare indignantly that we will get to the bottom of the horrible scandals at the most powerful government entity.
Check out this fresh video of yet another IRS employee in front of his regulator (Congress). As our system actually attempts to get to the bottom of this mess these employees are taking the 5th Amendment when asked basic questions about their jobs. Can you imagine being able to get away with this sort of behavior and still remain on the payroll? What is America doing today instead? Worrying about or celebrating gay marriage in California.
