Our 35th Wedding Anniversary Picnic on June 3rd

This is Aguirre Springs on the east side of the Organs, it was the site for our 35th wedding anniversary picnic this week.

Why a blog?

A few times a months I get asked if I am on Facebook. At one time I attempted to maintain a Facebook page. However, for me the tasks associated with trying maintain a Facebook page and respond made me feel like I was too much of a marketing target. While unquestionably useful for millions of people, the Facebook platform created a never-ending series of annoyances for me that outweighed the advantages. Still, I like taking advantage of the digital age. Sharing ideas, experiences, and photos is fun. In creating this blog I was able to get what I like most from technology......control. Here I can display my favorite photos, announce my plans, share my past experiences, and even provide my opinions on current events for anyone who might wonder what I think about subjects like politics and religion. Anyone who cares to come to this small corner of cyberspace is WELCOME. Feel free to simply open the pages on this site, leave a comment, send me an email, give me a call, or provide me with an update on your life.
