
1) Since April of 2000 the U.S. has added 31 million people to the population and yet there are fewer Americans working today than in April 2000.
2) The U.S. economy has only created 2.6 million jobs since June 2009. During the same period, 3.1 million people have gotten themselves qualified to draw disability benefits. Just twenty years ago there was one person on disability benefits for every 36 people working. Today the ratio is 1 to 16. Do you really think the percentage of Americans who have truly become disabled has doubled? Would you like to buy a bridge?
