Hollywood Park race track turned out to be a place where you could have learned a lot about current issues yesterday. It was Father’s Day 2013 when trainer Mike Mitchell collapsed in the winner’s circle after one of his horses won the 6th race. Mitchell was experiencing a violent seizure.
Fortunately, as is the case at virtually all race tracks, an ambulance was close by. Medical personnel quickly came to Mitchell’s aid and got him on a gurney in preparation for a trip to the hospital. That is when the trouble began. Read commentary here.
