We are being conned

Martin Luther King Jr. at the Lincoln Memorial
Take a look around. Martin Luther King Jr.’s birthday has been a national holiday for decades. Every January tens of millions Americans are inspired by the film clips of his brilliant speeches. The President of the United States, elected by a popular majority, is serving his second term. First Lady Michelle Obama is one of the most popular women in the country and the world. Oprah Winfrey is one of the wealthiest Americans. Bill Cosby is beloved by several generations of Americans having sold millions of comedy albums. Cosby’s television show was one the country’s highest rated programs in history. The rich voice of James Earl Jones continues to grace many commercials, documentaries, and television productions. Author Alex Haley became a cultural icon in America in the 1970’s after he penned “Roots.”
Booker T. Washington
Rosa Parks was one of the most admired people in America during her lifetime. Author Maya Angelou is revered in America for her enlightening philosophy. Denzel Washington continues to be one of the surest box office bets for major motion picture distributors. Booker T. Washington is widely recognized as one of the greatest scientists in U.S. history. Supreme Court Justice Thurgood Marshall has a major airport named after him. Every year on a special day in April all major league baseball players wear the number “42” to honor the remarkable accomplishments of Jackie Robinson. Robinson’s number 42 has been retired by every team, not just the Dodgers.
Colin Powell
Sixty years ago singer Nat King Cole achieved widespread fame and fortune thanks to a voice as smooth as velvet and dozens of wonderful songs. Nat King Cole delivered hit after hit and his music still sells well today. Retired Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Colin Powell is one of the most admired people in America. His autobiography was a best seller. Dr. Condoleeza Rice served as Secretary of State in the George W. Bush administration. Rice is respected all over the world. The examples of greatness, popularity, fame, and fortune achieved by African-Americans is almost endless. The list above is just a brief glimpse at African-American history.
America is populated by human beings. And people seem to hold an endless supply of biases. Some are against red hair. The phrase “beaten like a red-headed stepchild,” comes to mind. In America you will find people with biases against long hair, facial hair, tattoos, body piercing, baldness, obesity, shortness, the elderly, the New York Yankees, the Dallas Cowboys, southerners, Californians, New Yorkers, slow drivers, and fast drivers. It doesn’t stop there. Virtually every ethnic group and race has its own set of biases. A recent poll in the African-American community indicated that black people think there are more racists within their own ranks than within other races.
Condoleeza Rice
The bottom line is simple. Black people are no more likely to be “victims” of bias against them than any other group. However, in America there are a handful of black race-baiters who continue to receive an incredible assist from the television and print media in perpetuating their racial grievance narratives. Their worn out con game about a rigged system flies in the face of the remarkable stories of the very short list of people mentioned above. The truth is the list of African-Americans who are thriving in American numbers in the millions. The race of our two-term President and First Lady should tell us all we need to know about equal opportunity in America. Every single American needs to put those who are using racial divisions through the conjuring up of ghosts of a previous era in the penalty box. Race-baiters are conning America and what they do is not for the sake of "justice." The seek unfair political and economic advantages based on group identity. Instead of responding to every charge of racism leveled by these parasites the American people should ignore them. The fact that our media legitimizes their bogus claims is an insult to basic intelligence. The time has long since come for every decent member of our society to tell the racial grievance industry to shut the hell up and its field generals to get real jobs. Preying on the worst instincts of the weakest and most uninformed people in society is despicable.

  1. Amen. It would be socially redeeming for these parasites you're identified to start actually doing something to address the social problems that exist within the black community. When blacks commit ten times more murders, in which the victims are typically African-Americans, it's time for these alleged leaders within their ethnic community to take steps to help young black people to make positive changes. Perhaps they could start with their successful Hollywood celebrities that glamorize gun crimes and gang-banger culture.
