"Let's Pretend" is sweeping the nation

Zimmerman from the front after the attack
There is a new game being played in America. It is sweeping the nation. It is called "Let's Pretend." The rules to "Let's Pretend" go something like this: When a neighborhood volunteer gets jumped and beaten senseless by a violent teenager in the game of "Let's Pretend," we all say in unison.....the Hispanic watchman is white. Next we pretend the unprovoked instigator of the violence is a "victim of racism." This pretending is done after the person suffering the terrible beating uses force to defend himself.
Let's Pretend includes the Sanford Police Department and the local prosecutors in the city. We pretend they were all racists and this is the only reason why the beat up guy wasn't charged with a crime.
Next Let's Pretend fomenting racial hatred and tensions won't create BIG TV ratings for national news outlets. Let's Pretend, the media won't work hand-in-hand with race-baiting pimps to fabricate race-based controversies for their mutual financial benefits.
Zimmerman from the back after the attack
Let's Pretend news outlets that choose to spend thousands of hours covering a simple self-defense case are behaving reasonably. Let's Pretend the same news media does not ignore the fact that our poor crime-plagued inner-cities suffer from hundreds of cold-blooded murders every week. Let's also Pretend these media parasites actually do a decent job of covering real inner city crimes. Let's Pretend they actually care about the thousands of black kids who get shot every year in urban America.
Let's Pretend the ratio of absolutely stupid-ass Americans - to clear thinkers, has not reached epidemic levels. Let's Pretend it is OK for our federal government to actually finance “Justice for Trayvon” rallies even if Trayvon was killed while he was committing a very violent felony. Let's Pretend “civil rights leaders” like Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson would have showed up calling for "justice" if Martin had killed Zimmerman. Let's Pretend the staff at NBC News did not get fired for deliberately doctoring 911 call tapes in a deliberate attempt to foment racial tensions.
And most important of all, Let's Pretend the jury in this absurd case did not see these pictures of Zimmerman in the wake of the attack by Martin.
Playing Let's Pretend is a national pastime for many Americans. Isn't it fun?
