It's what fascists do

The explanations by Democrats on this political impasse appear to make sense. Obamacare is the president’s signature achievement. It is the law of the land. It was tested all the way to the Supreme Court. The president and his supporters in the Senate are not going to back down on this law. Why do the Republicans keep fighting against this law?

It all makes sense. Until you consider what Senate Democrats DO instead of simply accepting what they "say."

Let's take them at their word. It is a landmark piece of legislation and a signature accomplishment that is good for America. If it is, it should not be a law that the Senate and House Democrats then seek and receive exemptions from.

Republicans are not the only people who have turned against this law. Labor Unions have turned on this law too because it penalizes generous healthcare plans offered to them by their employers.

Senate and House Democrats have turned on it too. Not in what they say, but in what they DO. They have removed through a dubious OPM “interpretation” the same consequences for themselves and their staffers that fall on everyone else. It turns out Obamacare is a signature of what they want to happen to others, NOT WHAT THEY ARE WILLING TO ACCEPT FOR THEMSELVES.

So while Obamacare may well be the president’s signature achievement as well as the Senate and House Democrats baby, it is not a law they are willing to personally comply with. So one big question remains: Why is a law that they themselves have maneuvered and manipulated the system to get around compliance of, something they still go before the cameras and refer to as their signature?

The answer is simple. They are fascists. Fascists don’t think they should have to obey the same laws they pass for others. That is what makes them fascists.
